About Benny
Benny is 9 years old. His owner went to a nursing home so benny needs a new home too. He is a loving and lovable companion dog and would be ideal for an older person or couple who wants someone to cuddle up with. He'd be very happy to keep you company on the lounge and for a stroll around the neighbourhood. . . Benny is house trained and is an inside dog. He is happy to spend time outside enjoying the fresh air and sunshine, but needs to be allowed inside after dark and to sleep inside. . . We don't know how he would be with kids as we don't have any. Benny is used to being the only dog and doesn't cope well with other dogs, being a bit bossy. . . He is a small dog, but we're not sure of his breed: perhaps maltese, shih tzu or terrier mix? he has a gorgeous, low shedding coat which doesn't drop a lot of fur around the house but does need regular brushing, bathing and clipping. . . Benny is in good health and can expect to live another 6 or more years. We hope he can find a loving home where he can devote himself to his new family for the rest of his life. . . Dog rescue newcastle www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Benny's $200 adoption fee covers his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.
