About Gypsy
What can we say about gypsy? well, normally we try and help the dogs put their best paw forward but with our gypsy this is a bit difficult. Gypsy is extremely unsuited to life at the shelter; not that any dog is suited but some handle the situation better than others. Gypsy really isn't happy here and she is suffering from sensory overload; too many smells and sounds and comings and goings. The poor girl just can't seem to settle and while we are sure there is a tremendous gal lurking underneath we only get a glimpse of her every now and again. Like when she had these photos taken today - once she was walked up the road away from the confusion of the shelter we discovered she had had some training and knows 'sit' and 'drop'. This is not the first time that we have been unable to gauge the temperament of a resident due to their unsuitability to their surroundings and once they are adopted settle into their new homes perfectly. We really need someone to take a chance on this genuine rescue. Note: she has not shown aggression while at the shelter, she simply remains in a highly excited state which makes her hard to manage. Age: 1 year old (as at april 2012)
