Suzi *On Trial in Her New Home*

*suzi is currently trialling her new home* laidback suzi is one of a small litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born on australia day 2012 though sadly their mother rejected them after only 9 days so they were surrendered to sarg for hand raising. Their mother is a labrador x kelpie (who is now desexed), while their father is a purebred cocker spaniel so they’re a terrific combination!

being hand-reared all of the pups have lovely, friendly nature’s and get along well with their carers other dogs and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults as well as children making them pretty much “bomb proof”. They haven’t met a cat yet though this can be arranged if required. All of the pups love food and aren’t fussy so this is helping with their training. Sweet suzi is the shyest of the pups who can often be seen sitting watching her siblings before she’s ready to join in the fun and she’s the first one to bail if playtime gets too rough. This quiet, placid pup has thrown more towards the cocker spaniel in her and has gorgeous, soft wavy fur which she’s happy for you to snuggle up to for hours on end. Because of her ability to sit and listen suzi is proving to be a fast learner who is keen to master walking on a lead next. As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners! daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on (they love chicken necks!) and toys to keep suzi stimulated are also a necessity so she doesn’t get bored and up to mischief. as suzi is already picking up housetraining she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s a pup.
