About Lexie (On Trial)
On trial 27/4/12. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly lexie's sister tisha http://www. Petrescue. Com. Au/view/152936. . . Lexie is a 10 week old mixed breed puppy who will grow up to be a medium sized dog. She's a little bundle of love, fun and mischief. She likes to wrestle and run around with her sister tisha then crash out for a big sleep. Their foster mum also has an adult dog who teaches the puppies manners and how to be good dogs. . . Lexie is learning some basic training is already nearly house trained. She is a sweet and gentle little puppy. Playful but not wild. She currently sleeps inside and has access to the inside and outside during the day. She will need a home where she can have at least some time inside every day so she can be part of the family. Like any dog she needs a daily walk and interaction with people. We always recommend puppy training classes for all young dogs to ensure they are well behaved and welcome members of their families. . . It's cruel to get a young puppy then leave it at home alone all day. There's a good chance the dog will be lonely, bark, escape or be destructive. So if everyone in your household goes off to work and school all day then you should consider adopting an older dog instead of a puppy. . . We prefer lexie to go a home where someone is home much of the day. Also, another dog in the family would be an advantage. . . Lexie's sister tisha http://www. Petrescue. Com. Au/view/152936 is also available for adoption. They are very similar in appearance and personality. Lexie has four white paws and tisha has two white paws. Both have a white splash on their chests. So cute!. . . We can't be sure of lexie and tisha's breed, but judging by appearance we'd guess staffy mix with maybe collie, kelpie or lab? they were born approximately 1/2/12. . . When they were 7 or 8 weeks old they were dumped at south west rocks, taken to kempsey pound, then rescued from the pound by dog rescue newcastle. They have been in a wonderful foster home for a couple of weeks and receiving lots of quality food, expert care, training and cuddles. They are happy and healthy and ready to be adopted into their forever homes. . . *** please see more photos and a video of lexie at http://tinyurl.
