About Carey (On temp hold)
Carey is a 3 to 4 year old male fox terrier cross. He is well trained and always comes when i call him. He sits and rolls over and plays with the ball or the other dogs. He is house trained. He is gentle and friendly but timid. He is great friends with my foxy and border collie cross and has shown no aggression towards other dogs.
He has a shy personality but is friendly and loving and not at all snappy. He would be fine with children 8 years and older, or equally fine in a home with adults only. He'd actually make a great little friend for children because he lots of energy and is very loyal and loves exploring and games and things.
The other day I put my feet up on the lounge and socked (excuse the pun) him across the nose and he looked a little shocked but he didn't cower away or become upset because he knows i'd never hurt him on purpose. As soon as I went 'ooh my poor little baby. . ' he was over it. .
He comes to me for cuddles a lot. He is a cuddle junkie! I am able to do anything with him like wash him and brush him.
He is an inside dog and needs company and lots of love and attention and exercise. He is energetic and loves a good walk but is calm inside the house. He chases my chickens a little bit but not to catch just for sport. He regulates his pace to keep it with theirs so, it is kind of cute if the chickens weren't so distressed.
He is so much sweeter than he appears in his photos. He is so so cute and has silky fur and the cutest little face and markings. He is white all over with small brown spots and a brown face which is bordered with a black line around the edge. He has a small face and little paws. He is polite, sweet, loving, well mannered and will make a fabulous and loyal companion.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
