About Leroy
Hi, my name is leroy and i am a young jack russell of about 18 months. I was rescued from the pound by my mum through desperate for love just before christmas. Wow, what an adventure that day was. I love to go for daily walks and jump in the lakes to cool down. I also like meeting humans and other dogs on our walks. I love playing cricket and am a very good fielder even if sometimes i forget to give the ball back. I also like playing soccer and chasing tennis balls. I love my squeaky toys as i love squeaking the squeaker in them as it is such a fun sound. I love playing with my doggy friend, lizzie, who is 5. We have so much fun playing chasey, tug of war and going on walks together. My mum has taught me to sit, stay and says quiet on our walks when i get excited at seeing other dogs. She is trying to teach me other commands too. I have also learnt to lie down and roll over and the fun of treasure hunts. I try not to have too many faults but i am only young and still learning about boundaries and need a strong leader to show me how. Sometimes when in trouble i will sit and look at my mum with my puppy eyes and floppy ear and say “please love me”. I cannot live with small children as i sometimes forget they are not another doggy i can play rough with or challenge. My family loves me very much but my 2 year old human friend and i have different ideas on life. I also do not like cats, they are such strange creatures and i don’t like their claws or the fact they can jump higher than me. I would love to live in a home that wants me to be involved with their daily activities, that will take me on my walks and allow me to sleep inside. I really need someone to be home most of the day as i like lots of company. I would love another doggy friend to play with, one with lots of energy so we can play all day. I also love learning new commands so please teach me. I am very friendly, very loyal and loving. I will give you 110% unconditional love
