Bj (On Trial)

On trial in a new home 8/4/12. Please consider our other dogs and puppies at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au. . . Bj is a jack russell terrier x sheltie x corgi, approx 8 months. He is very affectionate, good with children, enjoys most other dogs. He's a quite a gorgeous looking little guy. He has a beautiful, soft, medium length coat which is a pleasure to brush. We can't be sure about his breed or age, can only judge by appearance, but just know that he is young, cuddly, fun loving, and sometimes cheeky!. . . Bj doesn't seem to have had any training before coming into foster care so we are working on teaching him basic commands such as sit, and walking on lead, etc. He is alert and inquisitive and would enjoy further training, so i'd highly recommend his new owner continue his education by taking him to dog/puppy classes. Any vet can direct you to a dog training class. . . Typical puppy, bj loves to chew so we make sure he has plenty of bones and chew toys to keep him busy so he doesn't chew things he shouldn't. He needs a daily walk to burn off some of that puppy energy. He is fine to spend time outside but needs to be allowed inside and to be part of the family when people are home. He sleeps in our back sun room/verandah. . . He doesn't fret when left home alone but does bark at noises outside of our property. So bj would not be suited to a home on a busy street where there are a lot of dogs and people walking past. He's a terrific little guy. If you can offer bj a loving home for the rest of his life, please don't hesitate to contact us to arrange to meet him. . . *** please see more photos of bj at http://tinyurl.
