About Pepper (D2094)
Pepper has a funny little nature and does not realise that he is quite a small little boy at 3. 6kg in all. He can be quite bossy (demanding of a lot of attention), and will let you know when he is looking for love. He loves a cuddle and fancies himself as a lap dog - he loves to sit with you on the couch while you watch tv. He loves his toys and will play with his little ball for hours and keep bringing it back to you to throw. He is generally a quiet boy at home but also a very good watchdog. He loves pottering around in the garden, catching bugs and it's his mission to keep any flies off his big foster brother jack the staffy!! he loves to chew but is not destructive. Pepper loves to play tug of war with the toy rope and the other bigger dogs and forgets how tiny he is. He knows basic commands and is learning more and will sit for his food and is very gentle taking food. Pepper loves his walks but only where there is no traffic around. We go for long walks in the parks and dog park and he loves to run and play. He responds to his name more and more. Pepper is extremely anxious in the car, very frightened or agitated by traffic passing or cyclists. He eventually settles, but his new owner will need to be patient and continue working with him. Pepper has made some excellent progress in this area. Ongoing training will have a positive and happy outcome. Pepper needs positive guidance but is super intelligent and quick to learn. Pepper gets on very well with other dogs, but is not sure about cats. Pepper has a history, and we have discovered that he really does not like children very much, so he needs to be re-homed with adults only. He also needs secure fencing with no gaps or he will wander. We are looking for someone very special to adopt this special busy boy, someone that has knowledge of small breeds and their big personalities and willing to keep working with him. You will be loved and entertained with this little one. Pepper is house trained, has been de-sexed, de-wormed, de-fleaed, micro-chipped and vaccinated, and is ready to go to a permanent home
