About Ralph (On Trial)
On trial in a new home 7/5/12. Please consider our other dogs and puppies at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au. We have several other staffys young and old. . . Ralph is a happy little 6 month old staffy cross. A bit on the small side, he has a huge smile. He loves humans – large and small - and is looking for his furever home. He has been trained to sleep in a pen and he settles down at night quickly. He is housetrained, and travels extremely well in a car – sometimes flat on his back with his legs in the air. He is calm at bath-time. He turns into a scaredy-cat near a real cat. . . Ralph has learned some basic obedience such as sit, come, drop and shake and responds to his name. He is well mannered in public. He is quite content to curl up on a couch next to his humans or to cuddle up to other dogs. . . Ralph would suit a family with another dog, or a person who is home a lot. He loves the household environment and would be perfect for an active retiree. He needs to be allowed some time inside with his family. He will need a yard with good fencing, with no gaps under the fence, as he can squeeze himself quite flat. . . Ralph likes food a lot, except things that are green (celery, lettuce, beans). As he grows older his food intake will have to be monitored. On the positive side, training is easy, as he will work for treats. . . He is very talkative. He grunts and groans and makes other unusual noises with his voice. He even grunts (and snores) in his sleep. He barks but not excessively – only when playing. He is quite comical to watch and be with. We have enjoyed lots of laughs with him around. . . As a fine member of the canine family and an upstanding member of the doggy world, ralph solemnly promises to make you laugh often, annoy you sometimes, and love you always. . . *** please see more photos of ralph at http://tinyurl.
