About Meeka
This is from marion meeka's foster mum and i left her discription as is because i think it describes her perfectly, and it also is an honest account of her personality. In the two weeks i have had her she has gained confidence in herself and with humankind. She is still timid but she will be a very loyal dog to her owner who she bonds with. She is still wary of men. When she is adopted she will revert back again and the adopter will have to be very patient with her and understanding in giving her time to adjust from the trauma of being taken away again from her her foster home. She loves her food. Enjoys a walk and is getting better at me approaching her to put her lead on. She is acting out like a puppy again, all goofy with picking up toys and charging around the backyard with her tail high in the air. She enjoys the comforts of a warm bed and will jump up onto the couch or bed to be close to me and go to sleep and snore blissfully. She will need a doggy companion and someone who is home most of the time (part-time work) as she at the moment gets separation anxiety and cries and howls when i go out even with the other dogs around. She was excellent when i bathed her. Toileting is good but she still has some accidents inside but very rarely and i would expect that to happen when she is adopted. She is a dog who just wants to be loved and be close to you although instead of being under the desk near me on her bed she is sitting on a bed in the window today with chocky basking in the sunshine. She is so sweet and 'dooffess' like with her big floppy ears and body
