Roxie *On Trial*

*roxie is currently trialling her new home* little miss roxie is one of 4 healthy, happy puppies who were born on 4 january 2012. The pups were recently surrendered to sarg and are now looking for loving forever homes. Their mother is an english staffordshire bull terrier, while their father is a maltese x shih tzu so it’s an interesting combination indeed!

all of the pups have lovely, friendly nature’s and get along well with their carers other dogs and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults as well as children making them pretty much “bomb proof”. They are fascinated with the household cat who prefers to stay out of their way. All of the pups love food and aren’t fussy so hopefully this will help with their training. Cutie-pie roxie is the smallest pup and the only one who’s brindle. She is a real little character who likes bossing her brother’s around but she also has a soft, caring side and enjoys cuddle-time. While in care roxie will learn the basics such as “sit” and “down” and how to walk on a lead as she definitely needs some practice with this. As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners! daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to keep her stimulated are also a necessity so she doesn’t get bored and up to mischief. The pups kinda look like mini staffy’s with soft floppy ears and we reckon they’ll be small to medium once they finish growing. Roxie would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s a pup.
