About Toby *On Trial in His New Home*
*toby is currently trialling his new home* lovely older gentleman, toby, is seeking a new forever home, will it be with you???
recently surrendered to sarg, because his family’s circumstances have changed, toby is an almost 9 year old purebred cavalier king charles spaniel who is partially deaf though this doesn’t stop him from being a very affectionate boy that loves to be around humans, big or small. He also enjoys a cuddle on your lap – he’s such a snuggle-bunny! at night toby quite happily curls up on his own bed in the laundry and you don’t hear a peep out of him until it’s time to get up. He gets along well with other dogs; we haven’t seen him with a cat but will be testing him soon if needed. Adorable toby is well behaved, is not a barker and is perfect on the lead. He is partially deaf though appears to hear some things if loud enough. Toby understands signs and has been taught the basic hand commands for “sit”, “drop”, “come” and “outside”. He doesn’t appear to lose much hair but will require a clip especially during the warmer months. Secure fencing, daily walks or runs around the backyard and lots of love will make toby very happy indeed. He may be a bit of a “golden oldie” but he is a real little gentleman that would fit well into most homes!
as toby is already housetrained and knows how to use the doggy door we would like to see his inside / outside lifestyle continued in his new home with either another friendly dog or on his own so long as he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he’s settling in. If loveable toby sounds like the perfect gentleman for your home then please download and complete a sarg dog application form by following this link: http://www. Sarg. Net. Au/adoptapet. Html
