About Samantha
I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Samantha is the sweetest, most easy going little girl you could ever hope to find. Samantha came into the pound with a very sore eye and on veterinary examination it was found to be severely ulcerated and on the verge of bursting. Samantha was released to paws under duty of care from blacktown pound so that she could have her eye removed to release her from the dreadful pain that she was suffering. All the time she suffered her little tail did not stop wagging and to this day it still wags constantly except when she is asleep! samantha is in seventh heaven at her foster carer's home and she is a very much loved temporary member of the family. Samantha is a gentle, fuss-free kind of girl who loves to lay in her carer's arms for a cuddle and is also happy to sit by you while you read a book or snooze in the shade on a sunny day. Samantha is not a fussy eater, is good with cats, kids and other dogs, enjoys her daily strolls and walks well on the lead but at the same time she is not an overly active dog. Samantha is a house dog that is house trained and she has learnt to use the doggy door which we think is very clever as she is still navigating the world with only one eye! samantha would suit a range of families but most importantly she must have another small dog for company if her owner is away at work all day. A retired couple or someone who works from home most of the time would be a great home for this special girl. Samantha has had all of the matts clipped from her coat and she will need regular grooming once her hair grows longer. Please note that samantha came from the pound with a condition that required the removal of one eye. Samantha comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. She has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on samantha or to arrange to meet her, please phone denise on 0466 690916 or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption. Listed 15 march
