About Bonnie (On Trial)
On trial in a new home 26/3/12. Please consider our other dogs and puppies at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly lola and bindi. . . Bonnie is an 10 week old puppy (mix of kelpie, border collie, and staffy perhaps?). She loves to play and is such a cute little bundle of fun. She's very smart and picks up on things very quickly. She loves all people. . . She hasn't met any cats yet but as she is so young she could be trained to accept them. Bonnie is living inside in her foster home. She will need to have plenty of companionship in her forever home, preferably be allowed inside when people are home. She is housetrained and will go outside for toileting if the door is open or on newspaper if the door is closed. . . She loves toys, especially squeaky toys and a game of tug of war with other dogs. We give her old cardboard boxes, and plastic bottles to shred and play with. She loves a game of tug with a rope and the other dogs. . . Bonnie is currently living with her sister josie and 2 other dogs and she gets along very well with all of them. Bonnie is slightly larger than her sister and is the braver, more independent one of the two. . . Bonnie had an unfortunate start in life. Someone put her and her littermates in a box when they were around 5 weeks old and left them on the side of the highway. Luckily they were found and have been well cared for ever since. . . We can't be sure of her breed (mix of kelpie, border collie, and/or staffy perhaps?) but we expect she will grow up to be a medium or medium-to-large sized dog. She has a gorgeous soft coat like mink. . . We recommend puppy training classes for all puppies to help them be confident and accepted members of their families. It is not a good idea to get a young puppy and then leave it home alone all day. So if you work all day you will need to have another dog in the family to keep bonnie company while you're not home. . . Bonnie was born approximately 28 december 2011. . . *** please see more photos of bonnie and her littermates at http://tinyurl.
