About Gertie
I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Gertie is a sweet and lovely little dog who was dumped in the after hours cage at wyong pound. She came out of the pound under 'duty of care' as she was weak from starvation, unable to stand on her own and was a matted mess with toe nails so long that they curled under her feet and were growing into her pads! gertie would not have survived if she had to spend anytime at the pound and we did not think that she would even survive the night but she is a little fighter and pulled through. Gertie has been in foster care for a while now and we feel she is ready to go to a new home. She needs a quiet home with no small children and another small dog with a nice temperament but her home must be cat free as she will chase them. Gertie is house trained, travels well in the car, loves to go for a walk and is very good on lead. Gertie is a house dog with a coat that will grow and then require regular grooming. Gertie comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. If you would like more information on gertie or to arrange to meet her, please phone denise on 0466 690916 or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption. Listed 10 march
