Tilly (On Trial)

On trial in a new home 24/3/12. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly pepper and clancy. . . Tilly is a fun, 2 yo dachshund cross. She is confident and thinks everybody is her friend. She is outgoing and a big tail wagger, a real wiggle bum! she loves to play fetch and can also amuse herself with her toys. Her favourites are tennis balls and ones she can really sink her teeth into. . . Tilly gets along with other dogs, but likes to be boss. She is a bit unsure about cats, they make her nervous. She is living with some while in foster care and having careful introductions to get used to them. Tilly is fine with kids (she's living with 5). . . Tilly was handed in to a pound as a stray. She was not microchipped and no one came to claim her. . . Tilly walks well on a lead and is learning to sit. She can hold the "beg" pose already and will learn easily as she just wants to please you. Tilly is toilet trained and sleeps in a crate inside at night. Tilly would be able to learn how to use a doggy door. She has a low maintenance short coat, so will only need a bath every few weeks. Tilly is not a big barker. . . Till is an inside dog and needs to sleep inside. She would suit a single person, couple or family with older children. As she is independent she would be ok if you are working as long as she is exercised and is allowed inside with you when you are home. . . *** please see more photos of tilly at http://tinyurl.
