reason for surrender owner has moved back to victoria and can’t find rental accommodation which will allow luda and he’s too much for his mum’s little dog so can’t leave him there. What is his/her personality like? very excitable especially when he first meets you, jumps up alot and tried to sit on my lap as he sits on his owner’s for cuddles. Typical young staffy who loves humans. Friendly and affectionate. Licks. Very spoilt – he even sleeps with his owner. Is he house trained? yes
is he allowed inside? yes – knows “inside” and “outside” command as well as “up” or “down” for getting on furniture or owners bed. Good with other dogs? hasn’t really been around them at all. Was too boisterous to live with his mother’s little dog. Good with children? \ only really met older ones – i reckon he’d bowl young ones over in his exuberance so not recommended. Good with cats? no. He also had a run in with a couple of possums whilst living in qld – they came into his yard and sadly came off 2nd best. . . . . Good on lead? absolutely loves walks!! \ owner uses a harness to walk him as it stops him pulling as much. Obedient? \ knows sit and drop (you have to say “down” instead of “drop”). His owner was a bit embarrassed when luda was jumping up and all over me like a rash and wouldn’t listen to him though luda did calm down eventually. He was concerned that he may have spoilt him too much so he’s not as obedient as he should be. The owner wishes he could keep luda
