Monty

Monty is a purebred border collie (with papers). His owners have moved and unfortunately don't have room for him at their new premises. Monty is fully house trained and, although he did live with one other dog, he is not good with dogs that are dominant towards him. He loves the company of people most of all and would be best in a household with either no other dogs or perhaps a quiet, more submissive female. Monty is not used to the antics of young children/toddlers so he would do best with older children. Poor monty is terrified of thunder so would need a secure, well fenced yard and either adequate shelter or preferably be allowed indoors at least some of the time. Monty needs to be in a home where they understand the needs of a purebred border collie and the requirements and commitment needed to look after his beautiful coat.
