About Bonnie *On Trial*
*bonnie is currently trialling her new home* meet adorable bonnie who we affectionately call “bonnie bunny” as she has the softest rabbit-like fur which makes you want to cuddle her for hours and hours which this little lap dog doesn’t mind one bit!!!
recently rescued from our local pound bonnie’s settling in well into foster care where she has another little sarg dog, gus, for company and they enjoy hanging out together and having a bit of a play. She is not at all “in your face” or a dominant dog even when she was sharing a pen with 3 other females in the pound, sweet bonnie took on the underdog role. She’s also good with the household cat. Bonnie can come across as a bit shy at first though its more her quiet, gentle nature than fear of anything – show her some love and she’ll be your best friend forever!! \ her carer calls bonnie bunny her “little treasure”. While in care we’ll brush up on bonnie’s “sit” and she’s already walking well on a lead and enjoys getting out and about. This happy, loving girl is learning to use a doggie door and sleeps inside in the laundry at night - you don’t hear a peep out of her until morning. We haven’t tested her with young children yet though she should be fine so long as they’re not overly boisterous and frighten the little petal. Adorable bonnie is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up her energy. She doesn’t shed much hair though she’ll require a good brush a couple of times a week and her longer “feathers” may need a trim every once in a while. Secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on, toys to play with and lots of love will make bonnie very happy indeed!
as she weighs less that 4kgs bonnie’s a terrific “take anywhere” size dog who would enjoy an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a friendly doggie companion or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she settles into her new home. If bonnie sounds like the doggie you’ve always wanted on your lap then please download and complete a sarg dog application form by following this link: http://www. Sarg. Net. Au/adoptapet. Html
Medical notes
Bonnie is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed. Weight: 3. 5kgs. Heartworm test = negative (commenced heartgard). As bonnie has a long back and very bendy bandy little legs she may be predisposed to health issues later in life though currently there is nothing to report according to our vets who did bonnie’s health check
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
