Dopey

Dopey is a purebred cocker spaniel who has a very friendly nature. His name doesn't do him justice at all (except perhaps when he doesn't look where he's going and crashes into a post!!). Dopey is a well behaved boy as he doesn't like to get into trouble and he's very good while being groomed and/or clipped - he just lays there while you do the job. He really loves being around people (and food!) and the greeting you'll receive when you arrive home will make your day. Dopey has a tendancy to cry though when left alone so needs to be in a home where someone is there for most of the day. He previously lived with another dog and is now with dogs at the carer's premises as well and is fine around them. Dopey knows how to use a doggie-door and would be best suited to a household where he will be allowed indoors with access to outdoors. He also needs owners who understand the regular care and grooming a cocker spaniel's coat requires and be prepared to commit to keeping it in the tip-top shape dopey deserves! dopey will make a wonderful companion for just about anyone - families, singles or couples!
