Just take a look at this beautiful little innocent face. This boy henry has just come into rescue after his owner made the very hard decision to surrender him. He has come into rescue because his owner has been struggling to put enough time into his training to control his curious puppy mind. We are now looking for a new forever home for this boy where he will be loved and cared for, for his whole life. Beagles make beautiful family and companion dogs but please don’t look at adopting this boy thinking it will be roses from the beginning. Henry will need a new home that will be able to give him the time and attention he needs. He will need to attend obedience training to keep his puppy manners in check and he will also need activities and stimulation when you aren't at home. Beagles are a scent hound so extreme care will need to be taken if henry is let off lead, his nose will take over and he will be deaf to your calls!henry loves playing with other dogs, walks reasonably well on the lead for an “l” plater, can sit, wait for his food (most of the time), is good with other dogs, doesn’t tend to dig, hasn’t been known to bark, and is great with kids. This boy is currently learning not to jump up when greeting new visitors and is also leaning not to chew which is his current owners main focus.
