Sarge - Adoption Pending

Don’t let this lovely boy's serious name give you the wrong impression. . . Sarge is a beautiful playful boy who still thinks he’s a pup. He loves playing with other dogs and gets on well with all shapes and sizes of dogs. He is also good with chooks and horses. Sarge is a bit shy when he meets new people and tends to stand away by himself for awhile just to check you out. But. . . Once he decides you’re ok, you’re his best friend for life! he loves to follow people everywhere and is my constant companion around the yard. He’s past the annoying digging things up and chewing things to pieces puppy stage but there is still a lot of play time left. Sarge is great off the lead and is learning to walk nicely on the lead. He always comes when he is called and loves to play with a toy in the backyard. I’m not sure if he understands he’s supposed to be a labrador retriever yet, because he acts like a labrador “retrieve and run away” at the moment!!

sarge is a typical lab. He will need to be kept fit and trim so he doesn’t have issues with his hips and elbows in the future. He certainly has no problems at the moment.
