About Pumpkin
Pumpkin was originally found wandering on the side of the road unwell and underfed. She was taken home and her family contacted but they no longer wanted her. She was subsequently given to a lady who already has a dachshund but because pumpkin escapes she needs a new home. Most dachshunds are known for digging under fences, pumpkin jumps them. She has done this several times and jaunts off on her adventures, causing chaos amongst the poor dogs who are all behind their own fences and leaving the neighbourhood with a lot of barking and jealous dogs, before casually returning home. Clever girl that she is she has also found her way to her owners work place on her own having walked the route a few times on leash. As well as being extremely intelligent she is an exceptionally affectionate dachshund and loves nothing more than sitting on your lap and smothering you in kisses. She has met a couple of very young children and has been very patient with them, so she's not a mean dachshund, just a little bit of an escape artist!
she will obviously need to go to a home with secure and high fencing and someone who can keep her stimulated with walks and lots of affection. Would be great if there was another dachshund for company
