Pepe *On Trial*

*pepe is currently trialling his new home* happy boy pepe is looking for a new forever home – will it be with you???

recently surrendered to sarg for rehousing, as his owner could no longer look after him, pepe has settled in well into foster care where he’s being spoilt by his carers young teenage daughters and he is getting along fine with the household’s 2 male kelpie x’s although he does to try to dominate one of the “boys” which is quite amusing to watch. Pepe is an affectionate, dog who is not at all yappy and “in your face”. This busy little dog likes to come and have a scratch and a cuddle and then likes to keep moving on his merry way checking out what the world has on offer. Clever pepe knows “sit” and comes when he’s called though he needs some training on a lead a he’s quite the little puller – a harness may help with this. Pepe is well behaved inside and has only had a couple of “accidents” early on when he was learning the household’s routine. Friendly pepe is great around humans of all shapes and sizes as well as other animals including cats and other friendly dogs. And at 7. 5kgs, he’s a terrific take-anywhere size!

handsome pepe is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up his energy. He doesn’t shed much hair though he’ll require a good brush a couple of times a week and his longer “feathers” may need a trim every once in a while especially around his feet. Secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on, toys to play with and lots of love will make pepe very happy indeed!

pepe’s had a pretty rough start to life diet wise so will need to be fed high quality dog food in his new home; he really enjoys his tucker! as he is already housetrained he would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a nice doggie companion or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time as he can be a bit of a sook.
