About Cody (On Trial)
On trial in a new home 8/5/12. Please consider our other dogs and puppies at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au,
particularly scarlett http://www. Petrescue. Com. Au/view/157233 and lucy http://www. Petrescue. Com. Au/view/152793. . Cody is a sweet natured 9 yo jack russell cross. She is patiently waiting for her new owner to come along so that she can devote the rest of her life to them. . . Sadly cody's elderly owners passed away 12 months ago and she was on the way to being surrendered to the pound when she was luckily taken in and she is now in care with dog rescue newcastle. . . A happy smiley girl who loves nothing more than human company, cody will gladly sit with you to watch the soapies, keep you company while you potter in the garden or hang out the clothes or share morning tea with you. She has been a much loved companion her whole life and just wants to join you in whatever you are doing to keep you company. Fully house-trained, obedient and well past the puppy stage cody will give the right home no trouble and lots of love. . . Cody needs to go to a home where she has company most of the time and where she is allowed inside when you're home. Cody would love to snuggle and sleep at the end of your bed however she is also happy in her own bed in the house. . . Cody likes regular short walks, just around the corner will do, she doesn't have a lot of energy to burn but she is social and likes to greet anyone on her outings. She can be a little timid and sometimes lacks confidence, she is frightened of big boisterous dogs in the park and needs you to help her feel safe if they bound up to her. Cody is friendly with small dogs however she would be best suited to a home without cats or other dogs as sometimes these frighten her. . . For reasons not clear to her carer cody does not like to be picked up however she is happy to jump up on the lounge, the bed and the car so it really isn't a problem. She also doesn't like the water so trips to the beach are certainly not on her to do list!. . Cody does not bark a lot but will let you know when someone is in the yard. She is friendly to everyone that she meets and is just a lovely lovely lady. . . If you think you have room on your lounge and in your heart for this lady who has many many years of devotion to give please contact her foster carer on the details below. . . *** please see more photos of cody at

Cody has recently been vet checked and although she has a slight heart murmur (which she has had for some time) she has no need for medication at present and the guesstimate is she won't for several years if ever. Prospective families are welcome to discuss this condition with her current vet
