About Coco
Special needs dog: please read medical notes - coco is a gentle, friendly boy who gets on well with adults, children and other dogs and loves spending time outdoors as well as indoors, curled up on a rug or in his bed. In the 8 weeks he's been in foster care, he has shown he is a very quick learner. Mastering the doggie door out to the backyard quickly, he now goes through that with ease. He eats well and is pretty good at not messing inside but needs just a little more help with that. He thinks cats are toys though, so is best suited to a home without them!
coco is ok on lead but i am still working with him as far as heeling and staying to the left goes. Coco will need work as far as going for walks goes. A harness is more suitable as this is helpful in guiding him. He has moderate exercise requirements. He needs a daily walk and is happy to sleep the rest of the day away. Coco has lovely silky hair which doesn't need a lot of grooming. A brush every fews days and a trim every couple of months will keep him looking his best. Coco is a delightful boy and his eyes just melt your heart. He just needs someone to show him some love and accept him for the special boy he is. Special needs: see medical notes
Medical notes
Coco is vaccinated, microchiped, desexed and up to date with worming and flea treatment. Coco is blind. However, pets do not seem to have the psychological problems that humans have with accepting disabilities, and coco is no exception! blind pets are no exception, they are not suffering due to their disability and can go on enjoying life just as much as they did when they were fully sighted. All they need now, is a little help from you to ease them into their new lifestyle. Coco's, blindness means he will bump into unexpected objects and miss some of the action that is going on behind him. It can also be a challenge for him to always walk straight on a lead. Structurally his eyes are normal and these limitations do not appear to affect his outgoing personality at all
