Pogo *On Trial*

*pogo is currently trialling his new home* this bouncy little pup is pogo and he’s looking for a fun-loving forever home – will it be with you???

recently rescued from our local pound pogo is a healthy, happy normal puppy who enjoys cuddles and attention. Since arriving in foster care he’s been entertaining another little sarg doggie who was suffering from separation anxiety and it seems to be working – we reckon 5 minutes with pogo would lift anyone’s spirits!! pogo interacts well with humans of all shapes and sizes and he’s also great with other friendly dogs who he just wants to play with plus he’s fine with the household cat. As pogo is a young puppy he will require ongoing obedience training and socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners. While in care we will start with the basics such as “sit” and “down” and as he’s so food orientated and eager to learn we’re hoping it’ll make training pogo a breeze! he’s also being shown how to walk on a lead as he doesn’t appear to have had much practice at this and his carer is working on his toilet training so he can enjoy being an inside doggie and a part of the household’s goings on – he’s already mastered the doggie door!

adorable pogo is quite low-maintenance, only requiring the occasional brush and bath to keep his coat in tip-top condition and the bonus is he hardly loses any hair. Daily walks or runs around the back yard, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on and toys for pogo to play with will make him very happy indeed!

pogo would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on his own if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he’s a pup.
