About Atticus
I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Atticus had a neglected background but is a lovely and loving happy dog, active and playful. He loves to play fetch with a squeaky toy or ball and enjoys playing in the yard with the other dogs, chasing and rumbling around with them. Atticus enjoys going for a walk, is good on the lead and is not noisy or aggressive to other dogs. He is house trained, sleeps quietly on his bed all night, enjoys his food and appreciates a lap and a cuddle. Atticus has learned to get what he wants by begging and waving his paws up and down but is learning that a plain 'sit' is just as effective. He is quite smart and needs something to do because socks, shoes, even his bed can be moved around or lost when his carer isn't looking! atticus enjoys attention but does not dig, or bark much and ignores the cat. He would enjoy an active home where he can play with another dog, go for walks and chase a squeaky ball. Atticus will need careful grooming to ensure he doesn't return to the state he was in when he came into foster care because right now he is very handsome. Atticus is a house dog and must have access to the house via a doggy door or similar. Atticus comes desexed, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $400. He has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on atticus or to arrange to meet him, please phone denise on 0405 244871 or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption.
