About Tyson
Tyson has come into our care and we cannot understand why. A beautiful young and active male German shepherd with striking masking and excellent colouring.
This handsome young dog is social with other dogs is very quick to learn and extremely willing to please. Completely house trained and learning to walk well with a haltie, young Tyson will grow into a 35 kilo shepherd. Currently in a foster home at Sylvania, NSW.
We are socialising Tyson at off leash parks and going for long walks on beaches where he meets a variety of other breeds and he is inquisitive and playful.
We would recommend his new family continue with his socialisation to ensure he continues to grow into a self assured and calm dog.
Still in that adolescent stage of life, Tyson is your typical young dog who needs consistency, firm but fair boundaries set and regular exercise and plenty of it.
We are looking for a committed owner who will ensure Tyson becomes an integral member of the family. Previous experience with this breed or large breed dogs is a must.
Probably not suitable for a home with toddlers as this boy could knock a young unsteady toddler over. Tyson is living with his foster carer who has a cat. Tyson has show interest but nothing untoward so if your cat is dog social and you feel confident to introduce then Tyson could live with a resident cat.
If you are prepared to make a 10 year plus commitment to this beautiful boy then click on the link on your screen and provide us with your details.
If you think you can give me a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Tyson".
If you live in Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family and any dogs to meet Tyson. If for any reason he doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing him back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Tyson is in excellent health, fully vaccinated and desexed.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
