About Mo
Introducing the amazing mo!
mo was found as a stray in october last year, picked up by a pound then handed to beagle rescue off death row to be given a second chance. He is about 8-10 years old and he and was in a shocking state, his skin was inflamed and red raw, he had ear infections and while in foster care, he developed a strange growth in his eye. We quickly had it investigated and it was diagnosed as sarcoma (cancer). After extensive tests and ultrasounds by our vets and specialists, we were all delighted to find that the tumour was isolated to his eye only - his eye was removed immediately. Mo is now cancer free and is happiest, friendliest not to mention most relaxed, beagle we have ever met!
mo just loves life! at 8-10 years of age mo has not slowed down, he loves other dogs, humans, jumping into your lap for cuddles and kisses, he will happily keep up with the younger beagles, he plays like a puppy, rolls in the mud and dirt and loves pats, but has the maturity to be content with a nice lie in the afternoon sun. Mo takes on everyday with abundant enthusiasm and joy. Losing his eye has not impeded him in any way shape or form, in fact he could teach most of us humans a thing or two about how to view the world (through one beautiful blue eye!)
it is time now for our beautiful regal beagle boy to find a forever family of his very own. We will miss our beautiful boy immensely but we know he is going to make a existing beagle family an even happier one. Everyone that meets mo falls instantly in love with him. Mo needs a beagle experienced home with no cats! he loves cats but they are not as keen on him! this boy is so relaxed and friendly that he will walk into any home as though he has been there since he was a pup. He is cancer free, happy and healthy and his skin has all cleared up. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime character to join your home please visit our website www. Beaglerescuevic.
