Topaz

Topaz is another pound pooch that was never collected. Topaz has been in foster care on small acreage with no dog fencing, she is very smart dog. She has learnt very quickly not to wander away from the yard, love’s to be near people and will generally sit and obverse whatever you are doing or want to help. Topaz comes when she is called and is 99% house trained, only having 1 or 2 accidents inside but these were at the back door after she couldn’t hold on any longer. No doubt if she had a doggie door for access, she would be more than happy to go out. She is good on the lead, gets along with the cat and doesn’t bark much. Topaz will sit on command and for food. Once she has worn herself out she is quite happy to sit and have a cuddle. Topaz has high energy levels and will need lots of simulation, room to run or regular exercise. She gets very excited when you first get home and will need ongoing training to stop her from jumping up on you, once this is corrected would be well suited to small children. She would be perfect for an active family with teenagers. She loves other dogs but is possibly better suited to another young dog as her high activity levels can get to some older dogs.
