About Biggles (On Trial)
On trial in a new home 12/4/12. Please consider our other dogs and puppies at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly china, millie and jed. . . Biggles is a 12 month old staffy x that is so affectionate he could melt any heart. He is very thankful for any attention he gets and shows it by licking you with the most gentlest licks. He loves to cuddle and will snuggle into you whether it's on the couch, in the car, in the backyard or even while out walking. . . Biggles is such a character that you can't help but have a bit of a laugh while watching him. He prefers to slide off things rather than get down off them. He also likes to army creep along the floor (so you can't see him of course) and slowly paw by paw climb onto the couch beside you while watching out of the corner of his eye to see if you're looking at him. He tends to cross his front paws when he lays down and has the cutest over bite making him even more of a character. He's one of a kind that's for sure. . . Biggles loves water. He will play in his paddling pool for hours on end, getting in and out taking toys in to play with and even laying down and having a nice cool drink at the same time. . . Biggles has good training. He knows sit, stay, come, lay down, bed and will wait until told before he eats. He needs someone that is firm but fair and confident enough to carry on with his training. . . Biggles spends most of his time outside during the day but is allowed in certain areas inside. He sleeps inside at night and will wake you if he needs to go outside to the toilet. He is house-trained and doesn't chew anything except his toys. . . Biggles is a little unsure when he first meets other dogs, but once he gets to know another dog they are inseparable! he is currently in foster care with a very placid large dog and also a chihuahua. He adores the large dog and they spend hours outside playing or on the floor wrestling. Once they have worn themselves out biggles will snuggle into his doggy mate and fall asleep. He has seen cats but hasn't been allowed to get up close without supervision, he just lays down and watches them, very curious as to what they are. . . He is definitely a human oriented dog, whether it be kids or adults he loves humans to bits. He doesn't like to be left alone so he must go to a home with another dog to keep him company while his humans are out. He does jump up when he meets somebody new or when you arrive home because he is excited, so he would be best suited to a family without small children. . . Biggles is a special boy that doesn't need for much, just for somebody that has time, understanding and a lot of love. It does take him a little while to settle into a new environment and get use to his new humans and doggy friends but once he settles you can't help but fall in love with him. He truly is a beautiful boy. . . He will be your best mate, not just your dog. He has so much love (and entertainment) to give. . . *** please see more photos of biggles, at http://tinyurl.
