Great news, i have gone out on trial to a new home with my buddy boris. We were so excited. Wish us luck
hi my name is mildred (the white girl of course) and i'm 2 years old. I'm a very friendly girl and look a lot like millie who has already been adopted so i hope some of the people that missed out on millie will want me. My assessment from where i was staying is below. But jan & linda say i'm a gorgeous friendly & loving girl and well behaved. Full body touch: allowed and enjoyed the attention
health: good
personality: a very affectionate yet independent girl. Lead training: walks well on the lead. Formal training: will come when called and sit with the help of a gentle hand, she appears to have had no other formal training. Other dogs: she arrived at the shelter with a small puppy and they get on well together, she has a mothers instinct and treats the puppy as her own. Toy/child test: showed no interest in toys. Met with a two year old girl who walked up to her pen, she wagged her tail excitedly and licked the little girls hand through the bars on the pen. Startle test: did not startle
food : takes food gently from the hand, can be pat when eating from a bowl on the ground
overall opinion: this girl has a beautiful friendly nature, she loves her human company but can also be very independent, she arrived at the shelter with a puppy who staff thought could be hers, i found no evidence that she has had a litter previously and believe this puppy is not hers, however she treats this puppy as her own. This girl loves to play in water as most staffy’s i have found do.
