Jed (On Trial)

Jed is a lovely male mix breed of possibly greyhound and great dane. He is 2. 5 yo. He's a gentle giant with a very sweet temperament and a lovely face. A big sookie. If your lap is big enough he will be in it or is happy to curl up at your feet. . . Jed is house trained but his signals aren't very obvious. So has to be watched for signals or simply put out occasionally just in case, or get a doggy door. . . Jed doesn't have a mean bone in his body, and is social towards other dogs. He is energetic, and will require a family to provide him with exercise and a yard sized to suit his needs. He has never made any attempt to jump or dig from his yard. . . He is happy to lay on veranda rather than play or run with the other dogs. He gets on well with my teenagers. He is not aggressive but is not submissive either, if attacked will defend himself. . . He is very quiet. He would blossom with someone who would take the time to play with him and show him what fun is. He is sadly lacking in fun skills, like chase the ball, chase after the birds, fetch a stick or even bring, he doesn’t even bring you a chew toy for a game. . . Jed is very good with children, but because of his size would be best suited to older children. He is a very affectionate dog who will be a wonderful member of any family who will love him and care for him and give him some time. . . Dog rescue newcastle www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com.
