Happy Jack (On Trial)

On trial in a new home 2/3/12. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly charlie and pax. . . Happy jack is a 5-6yo mini foxy x jack russell and is one of the loveliest dogs we have had in our home in the past three years. He is a real gentleman who hasn’t put a paw wrong in all the time he has been with us. All he asks for is lots of love and affection and plenty of nurses and maybe a walk every day. He becomes bossy with other dogs when they’re behind their fences when we are out walking but i think this is all show. He is always keen to roll over for a belly rub!. . . When he first came to us he wasn’t eating and took me a few days to realise that apart from being unwell he was fretting. I discovered when a friend’s young daughter came to visit that he became very animated, wagged his tail continuously and followed the girl everywhere and was much brighter and happier. I asked my grandson to come to our place to feed him as he had not been eating and he was happy to take some food from my grandson and his friend. He also loves being in the back yard with my grandchildren and their friends when they were swimming in the pool. This led me to believe that he would make a perfect pet for a family with children as he just loves their company, though i also think he would adapt very well to an older couple as he has become very attached to my husband and myself. He also gets on very well with our own jack russell. . . Jack is now happy and healthy and the one of the most beautiful little dogs we have had with us. I will miss him very, very much when he goes but know he needs a home to call his own. . . *** please see more photos of jack at http://tinyurl.
