About Lucille Ball - 'Lucy'
Meet lucille ball! her name comes from when she was first rescued, heavily pregnant with a huge ball shaped belly and the rest of her just skin and bones. . . Although most of the time we just call her lucy. A dna test was conducted, indicating lucy is a blend of numerous breeds with doberman, rottweiler and scotch collie the most prominent. Lucy had 10 pups and at less than 18 months old she is just a pup herself, a ball of energy, and loves to play fetch, go for walks in the park and play wrestle with anyone that will give her the time. In saying that she is also the most affectionate dog her carers have ever had the pleasure to meet. Lucy loves to cuddle, and despite her size she considers herself a lap dog and will happily relax at your feet (or right on your lap if you let her!) for hours on end. Lucille must have had some training earlier in life as she knows the commands sit, stay, go outside, drop, etc. And she is a complete lady with food, if you hold something out for her to eat she will sit and take it when you say so, ever so gently. She has started additional training with a professional trainer to further improve what she already knows. The trainer is happy to conduct a subsidised refresher session with lucy's new family. Lucy takes time to warm to other dogs and when given the appropriate time and and support to build her confidence, she certainly does enjoy playtime. Lucy appears to not be bothered by cats, however has not spent much time with them, so would prefer to live in a home that is cat-free. Lucille loves being with people as much as possible and would benefit from someone who is home often or who can take her to work as she loves trips in the van. A secure yard is required if lucy is to be left for lengthy periods of time. She loves kids especially, and anyone that will play in the yard with her. If you’re looking for a loyal companion lucy has a beautiful nature, is full of personality and would make a great family dog! please contact us for more information on the beautiful and loving lucille ball
Medical notes
Lucy is a healthy girl and is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated
