Mackey

Mackey (and his brother thomas) have been in foster care for a while now with a family with an old terrier dog and 2 primary school aged children. They are sleeping on the deck outside as they have been outside dogs, but have been let inside to socialise - they have worked out that they can lie around and are very relaxed.  

they would not be good around cats or small animals like guinea pigs,
as they just want to eat them.  

they went to the albury dressage dog show at the weekend and were fantastic, they didn't bark or pull on their leads and were not fazed by any of the other dogs.  

they were surrendered after a barking complaint, and their original owner was discovered to have more dogs than allowed. As far as the barking goes, they did that for the first couple of nights, but the barking has reduced dramatically and they only bark at the dogs next door when they bark.  

they like walking on the lead and travel in the car in an animal carrier well.  kim at furdelicios gave them a cool hair cut so they will be much happier in this hot weather.  

mackey is the smoocher and loves cuddles and he likes the leather lounge or sitting right on top of you.  mackey seems to have good recall and knows his name. For more images and information, please go to www. Wodongadogrescue. Org. Au
