Lucinda

*will be trialling her new home soon*lucinda (lu) is a lovely happy young girl. She is a very quick learner and is an absolute pleasure to train. She can happily amuse herself for periods of time with her toys and foster sister, but she is happiest with company- both dog and human. She is an active girl who loves to know what is going on, she walks ok on the lead, tail up, head up apart from the new smells she is smelling, a lead is new to her. As she is only a puppy, she accepts what you have to offer, though as she matures, she will need lots of exercise and activities to keep her amused. Lucinda (lu) loves to snuggle with you. She thinks this foster life is fantastic, we don’t believe she was shown any form of affection in her past life, so she is lapping it up. She loves her couch time and cuddles. She is quite boisterous in her play and happily takes on her foster sister (a golden retriever) in a game of tug-of-war. Lucinda (lu) is currently learning the right way to behave, she is very affectionate, so will jump (gently on you) but this is a no and she is learning that she gets cuddles and playtime if she does not jump. She understands this, but sometimes she gets a little too excited when she see you, but a firm no works wonders. She has been exposed to younger children and toddlers and was good with them all. She is also good with cats. Lucinda would love to find a family that has another dog as she would fret if she was an only dog. She is not suited to being an only dog. She does need a home that has another dog that she can bond with. We never want her to be alone again. Can you give her a new home that will get her started on her new life? she is a puppy and will need to go to puppy school to learn socialisation skills and what is expected of her.
