Alfie (On Trial)

Alfie is a beautiful, medium sized, male mixed breed dog, 10 months old. . . We are not sure of his breed, he has border collie colouring, a bull terrier type face, a kelpie body but he thinks he's a human! ! !

alfie has basic obedience, he's house trained, will sit and come when called and walks nicely on the lead. He is good with other dogs and is fine with the cat that lives here. . . He loves people and cuddles, he likes children but can be a bit clumsy around very small children as he doesn't seem to realise his size. . . Alfie prefers not to be on his own for long periods so would need a new family where there is another dog or people who are home most of the time. He sleeps outside but would also love to sleep inside. During the day he just loves being around people and will happily sit quietly by your feet. He also enjoys going for walks, playing with other dogs and playing on the beach. He loves food and is food motivated which makes him easy to train. . . A very special dog indeed, alfie has such a gentle loving personality he would make a wonderful addition to the right family. . . Alfie is in temporary foster care in the newcastle area and is also available for fostering as he is unable to stay with his present foster family for much longer.
