Gorgeous George (On Trial)

Meet gorgeous george, he just wants someone to love him and he's a happy little soul. He's a 3-4 yo small terrier mix, very friendly, likes other dogs, and is house trained. He's had little other basic training as yet but we've started it and he's very keen to learn and easy to teach. He's very food motivated so that helps make him easy to train. . . George is a young, energetic little fellow and would suit a family. I've not seen him around kids but i imagine he'd be great. He's very gentle albeit energetic, i imagine that might be the only issue with very small children. I've not seen him with cats. He barks very little, only when he sees us eating and wants some, but by not rewarding him when he does that he is learning that it doesn't work. Georgie is an indoor dog. He's fine to spend time outside when no one is home, but needs to be allowed inside with the family and to sleep indoors. . . Poor george was not so gorgeous when we rescued him. He had fleas and his coat was dirty and matted. But now he's been all cleaned and groomed, treated for fleas and worms, vet checked and is fully healthy. He could still stand to put on a little weight and as his coat grows in more you will see it take on more of a beautiful silken sheen. We can only guess at his breed. He may have a bit of maltese, australian terrier, silky, or jack russell in him. His low-shedding coat will need regular brushing, bathing and clipping. Georgie has such a pretty face and sweet temperament, we know he will be a much loved member of the family in his forever home. . . *** please see more photos of george at http://tinyurl.
