Hello my name is neddy
i would like to be adopted with buddy jet. A lot went into the rescue of little neddy!

sadly many parents get guinea pigs as pets for their young children thinking they are cheap easy pets! they soon realised this is not the case and the children quickly lose interest leaving it to mum and dad to care for the guinea pigs, once mum and dad are other the extra work load many people diced to move them on sell them, give them away or surrender them to a shelter but in this case neddy was just thrown out into the wild to care for himself!!!

neddy managed to get into the next door where a man found him the man then went next door as he knew they had a guinea pig and asked if he got out the response was no we let him out we don’t want him!
the man tried to catch neddy but was unable to so he called the rspca to ask for help they then referred him to a guinea pig rescue located in brisbane witch referred him onto us as we were only minuets drive away. . We then arranged to go to the location and tried to catch little neddy. . Neddy had been rooming free for over 4 months at this point and he was very quick and not used to people it took the team just half an hour to rescue him and he was brought back to the shelter. . He hated being handled but since arrive to the shelter he has been handled on a regular basses and he has shown huge improvement! he is now one of the quiets people friendly guinea pigs avalible for adoption at the shelter! amazing what a little love and care can do!
