Monty

We rescued him from mowanjum (derby) the week before christmas, and so he has been with us now for approx 4 weeks. It has given us a good chance to learn his temperament, which is gentle and placid. He is house trained in that if he has access to a doggy door or to the backyard he will take himself outside every time for wees and poos. We are still working on basic commands like sit and come. He is currently the same size as our female cocker spaniel, so he will be a medium-large dog (knee height most likely). We rescued him with a belly full of worms and lots of ticks, and also a cut on his right lower eyelid which has healed now but has left it the lower lid a bit "droopy". This is only really noticable if you know about it. He is good on a lead, good with other dogs (we have three) and good with people.
