About Basil -Desexed and Vaccinated
Basil is a friendly boy who loves pats, and will do anything for parsley. He came to our shelter 2 years ago with his family to find a friend, and adopted a little baby rabbit named anastasia. They have been doing really well, however their human parents have now had a real baby, and can't find the time to care for the bunnies and spoil them to the extent that they've been used to. Basil and annie used to be indoor bunnies, and are very good at using their litter tray. They will need lots of space to run around an play, and are pretty good with strangers (especially if they bring parsley or celery). Basil has some cashmere in him, so will need grooming. He is good when taken to the dog groomers, so this is an option for people who don't like to do it themselves. If you would like to adopt basil and annie, please fill in an adoption form at our website: www. Porschesrescue. Com
Medical notes
Basil has had ear surgery as the ear canals were too small. He is now fine and will not need ongoing treatment. Vaccinated -please note that due to the release of calici virus, all bunnies adopted from us will be vaccinated. Desexing normally costs anywhere from $100-$360. Vaccinations are from $40-80 (costs differ between vet clinics). Therefore please don't try to haggle the price of the animal for adoption. If you can't afford the adoption fee, you certainly wont afford the ongoing costs associated with animals
