About Pepper *On Trial*
*pepper is currently trialling his new home* this little fella is so full of life and love that the ranger from balranald shire council knew he couldn’t be put to sleep, so when he remained unclaimed at the end of his 8 days they brought him to us sarg folk in mildura and we promised to find him a fun-loving new home!pepper has settled in well into foster care where his new best friend is olive, a 12 month old female jack russell who was also found wandering in balranald and is available for adoption too. They are having a terrific time playing and romping around the backyard and then curling up together for a well deserved snooze at the end of a long hard day – they get along so well you’d think they’d been together for ever! happy, friendly pepper is good with humans of all shapes and sizes especially his carers 3 young sons and he’s great with other little dogs (we haven’t tested him with large ones yet). Handsome pepper likes getting out and about for a walk and while he’s in care we’ll work on “sit” and “down” - he already knows his new name and comes when he’s called. Pepper doesn’t appear to chew or dig and is a good little watch dog but not in a yappy way which is a bonus. Pepper would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to hang out with or on his own so long as he’s not left alone for long periods of time while he settles into his new home. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on and toys to keep pepper stimulated will make him very happy indeed!if you think you can give pepper the loving forever home he’s looking for then please download and complete a sarg dog application form by following this link: http://www. Medical notes
Pepper is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed. Weight: 7. 1kgs (as at 20/12/11). Heartworm test = negative (commenced heartgard)
Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed,
references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
