About Casper
Casper is a loving, energetic dog and intelligent dog whose main goal in life is to love and be loved by his owner. He is a pleasure to foster and loves kids, although would probably do better with older children. He is
slowly being exposed to indoor cats and does like to chase them but i
believe over time and with some training he would adapt well. He has been introduced to others dogs and seems to get
along well with them, big and small. He loves to chase the ball or any toy you can find, and is unlikely to return them if he doesn't feel like it!!!
casper knows a few basic commands and is a fast learner. He has lots of energy but it seems to be in short
bursts. He then becomes a couch/bed potato and will quite happily curl up and sleep for a few hours during the day. He is definitely a lap dog. He is crate trained at night time so you won't have a dog wandering the house getting up to mischief and he is house trained. He is happy to be left for a few hours during the day but does love company and being "with" the family. He would make an excellent indoor dog for an elderly person!!!
car rides are his pleasure and he travels well, especially if he can stick his head out the window. Please call alyson

Adoption details
We strongly recommend you read the dogs' profile carefully as everything we know about the dog/s is listed.
If you are interested in a dog we invite you to submit an application form so we can learn more about your circumstances. This is to ensure we match the right dog to the best home. (one form per family - not per dog) http://www.dogadoption.org.au/adoption---expression-of-interest.html
This is for the benefit of both the dog and the potential new owner/s. It also saves time and uses limited resources more effectively.
Once the essential criteria is confirmed we put you in touch with the carer for a more detailed chat with a view of meeting the dog/s.
If you decide to proceed with the adoption we make a time for a house check.
The adoption fee is then paid (there is a 2 week cooling off period.) Please note we do not usually allow trials.
Foster carers are also able to adopt foster dogs once approved.
