felix is one lucky dog! he was dumped in a box outside the pound, minutes before they closed for christmas which would normally have meant immediate euthanasia as they don’t have the capacity to care for small pups. But best friends rescue had someone in town to pick up another couple of dogs, literally arriving an hour later, and so he hitched a ride out! he has a great little personality, very snuggly, playful and cheeky. He is great with both cats and dogs, he loves to play tug-a-war and carries his toys all round the house. He fantasises about someone nursing him to sleep at night as he is such a little baby but understands that he will probably have to be a big boy, so as long as he can see you he is happy to settle in his bed. He is crate trained at night but would love to nestle up to someone in a human bed! he is great with kids of all ages, and is working on toilet training. Felix does have bow knees which the vet has checked out, and while it is too soon to know for sure how this will affect him the vet is confident he will make a great family pet, but probably has no future as a fireman.
