Charlie is trying a new home !!

charlie is a real dog (no toy or accessory here!) who loves to run in the park, play ball, bury his bones, chase birds and possums in the yard and play with other dogs large or small. Charlie does spend a good part of his day and night in the yard or on our back deck (where he can see his family) but is happiest spending time indoors so is very much a "companion" dog and needs daily connection and interaction with his human or family. Charlie is intelligent, obedient, loyal and affectionate but sometimes thinks he's "human" and enjoys a cuddle on your lap. Charlie knows lots of tricks and likes to learn new ones. He 'talks' and says 'hello' and knows all the standard commands (sit, stay, no annd down). Charlie is an active boy and needs regular exercise and, where possible, socialising with other dogs.   a reasonably-sized fenced yard for charlie to explore is also desirable. Charlie doesn't much like having a bath (he will hide) but once he's in the water he actually enjoys the pampering. Charlie is house-trained and at night he will lay on his mat while you watch tv or snuggle up at your feet. Due to a change in circumstances, charlie's owners are seeking to place him with a responsible, caring, active person or family looking for a loyal and loving life-long companion. Charlie comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention and is free to a good home. Charlie may be available for adoption outside nsw (please discuss with current owner) and can be taken on a two week trial if rehomed in nsw. Charlie is presently living in lane cove but he may be able to meet with potential adoptors at their own home by arrangement.
