About Finnigan
He was left at the pound and when we first saw him he was absolutely terrified. Eventually he came out of his shell and soon became one of the favourites of everyone that met him. He is in foster with other dogs, chooks, cats, ducks, goats and he has taken them all with a grain of salt. He has no vices and his foster carers have described him as "just a gorgeous dog". However after treating this boy for an upset gut, we then got him desexed, vaccinated etc and even had a home for this beautiful boy. But the foster carer noticed he walked a bit funny. So then we got him xrayed. Unfortunately the vet seems to think that there could be early hip dysplasia. After a long chat with the vet we left with the decision that we would put him up for adoption again. He is only a baby and the vet seems to think that some dogs can have hip dysplasia with no problems until they get to old age. Some dogs have mild hip problems and don't cope at all. With finn, his condition is manageable if his weight is kept under control. He is such a gorgeous big puppy we just couldn't come to decision to put him to sleep. We just hope there is a loving home out there who is prepared to give him a home with this knowledge. For more images and information, please go to www. Wodongadogrescue. Org. Au
