Alex

Alex is a wonderful mature dog who is seeking a backyard where he can chill out and lie in the sun. He would be suitable for a family with older children, as he does like to play and cuddle up with people and isn't too bouncy. Alex however is a large dog and has aggression towards other dogs so will not be suitable to live with other dogs, and will be best exercised in the yard with food toys and tug toys. If he is to go on walks outside the home, he will need to be wearing a muzzle and a headcollar to help control his strength. Some training will assist with this and as he is a very food motivated this will improve the situation. He does have a high prey drive and as such will chase any cats and small pets in the yard, so shouldn't be homed with them. If you are looking for a gentle boy to hang out with, alex may be your man!
