On Hold
About Dozer - On Hold
We are very impressed by dozer, especially since he has apparently never left his backyard before he was surrendered. He has changed from absolutely no recall to brilliant recall within half a week, comes straight back when called, even when he is busy sniffing out rabbits. He is great with other dogs, walks well on a leash, is house- and crate trained and learned all the rules in our house very quickly. Dozer is a very soft and smoochy, so very keen to please and very intelligent. Even though he certainly loves a good run and will need a good daily walk, he is not overly high energy for a working breed but he will need someone who can spend quality time with him and teach him new things to keep his mind stimulated, otherwise he will get bored and create his own entertainment. And chances are the owner won’t like it. If you can spend this bit of time on a regular basis and make him feel like a member of the family he will pay it back tenfold and be the most loyal companion you could ask for
